Taglit-Birthright Israel provides first time educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. Sending young people from all over the world, as a gift, strengthens the sense of international connection.

Their financial and reporting needs are complex. A single project can have multiple funders, multi-level authorizations are required, and much of the informatio is sensitive.

Having all the staff send receipts to a central person for authorizations and processing was overwhelming and inefficient.

Clevertech built Birthright Israel NEXT an integrated application that can handle an 8 segment GL with maximum usability – as easy as email! Data is automatically coded and synchronized with Sage.

Granular control ensures that individuals have access only to the infromation they need, a specially-designed interface helps all users input their data correctly, and much of the processing is automated.

Birthright Israel NEXT was able to increase their transactions processed per day with no increase in staff. They’ve been able to add new features to Sage, including approval limits, emailing alerts, and intelligent validations. The bottom line: increased efficiency for greater effectiveness.
