Clevertech developed a custom data management system that let UPRS act like a big company before they became one.
UPRS began as a small group of investors who banded together to capitalize on an opportunity they spotted: unclaimed property. Their vision was large, encompassing the entire United States market. Attaining their goal would require handling millions of records, managing dozens of agents, and tracking a process that was still being perfected. The investor group had attracted top talent from other firms and had to work within tight time frames in order to meet investor covenants. Only the lack of a system that was powerful enough to control and run their entire operation was standing in the way of their ambitious aspirations.

At the same time, it provided the tools necessary for working with property holders and institutions.
Time was of the essence, and development needed to be swiftly completed and executed. Dealing with only the most pressing issues and postponing other matters to a later date allowed for rapid creation of a system that was easily adaptable and malleable, one that could mature along with the company and its responsibilities. The outcome was remarkable: UPRS grew to become the largest in the unclaimed asset marketplace, handling over $100 million of assets across the United States from their New York office.
